A few words about the piece
Carved from smooth wood slices joined with hidden connectors, the Murder-Pillar is charming and unsettling. Numbered segments allow it to inch as if it has somewhere ominous to be.
Bright yellow antennae suggest friendliness, but dark eyes and the way it looms from a notebook edge hint at mischief.
Part creature, part kinetic sculpture, it’s a children’s toy that stares a little too long before it scoots off to eat something… or someone.
